The mission of the Reidsville Family YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. This mission applies to everyone in our community. The Reidsville Family YMCA was established in 1971.
The YMCA of Reidsville provides multiple programs and services for Reidsville and the surrounding community. The YMCA is open to both members as well as non members. Services include: after school childcare, summer camp, youth and adult swim lessons, lifeguard training, and the Energy Factory – youth wellness center. Programs include: Sports (basketball, soccer, indoor soccer, and swim team), youth and adult personal training, water aerobics, aquatic boot camp, fit quest, group exercise, as well as open and family swim. The goal of the Reidsville YMCA is to turn no-one away due to the inability to pay. Our Open Doors program is a scholarship program that allows people to participate at a subsidized rate.
The Reidsville Family YMCA is located across the street from First Citizens Bank and one block from Annie Penn Hospital.
