Tigers United, a program of Rockingham County Champions for Education, is committed to empowering youth through athletics, mentorship, leadership, and positive community engagement. Our programs serve youth ages 4–18 and include football, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, and our Tiger’s Den Mentorship Program.

Led by dedicated coaches, mentors, instructors, and volunteers, Tigers United provides a positive and supportive environment where young people can grow, learn, and succeed. We believe sports and mentorship help build confidence, character, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging. Our goal is to help youth recognize their potential, understand their value, make positive choices, and become successful members of their community while building stronger youth, stronger families, and a stronger Rockingham County.

Jennifer Lester serves as Director of Corporate Education Training for Rockingham Community College. This department includes areas such as The Small Business Center, Experiential Learning (Apprenticeships, Internships, Workbased Learning), Customized Training, Corporate Training, and Business and Industry Liaison services.

    Born and raised in the Reidsville community, I am delighted to be able to come back to the community and work with the people in my hometown and help serve my clients of Edward Jones.
    I am a graduate of Reidsville Highschool and attended Appalachian State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting as well as a Master of Science in Accounting with a focus on taxation.
    I began my professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers working as a tax professional in their Private Company Services group. After learning from my experiences working with individuals and large private companies, I decided to take on a new challenge and step into the financial advisor role.  I have enjoyed being able to help people with their total financial picture and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Eden Combs, a McLeansville native, has called Rockingham County home since 2011. With a Communications degree from UNC Greensboro and years of customer service and leadership experience, she turned her focus to real estate in 2017. Eden is known for her integrity, dedication, and commitment to outstanding client care. She serves on the Executive Board of the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce, received the 2022 Chairman’s Award, and was voted a Top 3 Realtor in Rockingham County. Eden and her husband Clay remodeled their first home in 2011, sparking her passion for revitalizing properties. In 2024, they transformed a downtown Reidsville building into a thriving real estate office and community hub. Outside work, Eden enjoys family life with Clay and their two children, lake days, hiking, and mentoring others, always striving to empower and uplift those around her.
