Topics@12 is a free series of one hour events hosted by the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce with guests from NC100 and North Carolina Employee Ownership Center. Events will occur very other Tuesday, January 31st through March 28th in person at the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce.

Topic: Heirs Property
Details: Join the Center for Responsible Lending and NC-100 on February 14th at 12-1PM for a discussion of how family members who jointly own property they inherited can contribute to the loss of family land because of the state of the law in North Carolina. Heirs’ property experts will join us to share information about current law, efforts to change it to allow joint owners more opportunity to retain family land, and why the change is important, particularly in rural NC.
